Mary Hatfield Glasson Scholarship
Mrs. Glasson established the scholarship fund to award scholarships to graduating seniors of Seymour High School. Mrs. Glasson established the fund in memory of her brother, Lawrence Hatfield, who owned Hatfield Drug Store in Seymour.
The primary requirement for the scholarship shall be financial need. The scholarship should be awarded to students who make average grades, the scholarship is not to be given with the persons with the best grades in the class. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of college education, so long as that student has passing grades and maintains good citizenship.
